Doris Dianne Rosenberger, 70, went home to Heaven to be with God after a valiant battle against an autoimmune disease.
She was born on July 26, 1952, in Frostburg, MD, to the late Edith “Dee Dee” (Haupt) and Carl Baker. In addition to her parents, she is preceded by a brother, Dale Baker.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 49 years, Kenneth Rosenberger; her dear son, Jesse and wife Jessica; precious grandson, Joshua; brother, Sonny Baker and wife Martha; sister-in-law, Sheila Baker; nephews, Jeff Baker, Kevin McKenzie; nieces, Jina Malone, Misty Broadwater, Julie Bittinger; numerous cousins, and treasured family.
Doris was a lifelong resident of Finzel, graduated from Beall High School, and had been employed at the Grantsville and Meyersdale Shirt Factories. She retired from ATK to babysit her beloved grandson.
Besides caring for her family, she treasured animals (especially Collies and Shelties), flowers, landscaping, drawing, painting, sewing, crossword puzzles, old movies and country music.
Doris’ love for her family cannot be described enough. She loved her family with her whole heart and cared more for them than herself. All memories of Doris are perfumed with her love for that person.
She will always be loved, never forgotten, and forever missed. Her leaving will make a hole in our lives, but she left so many memories to fill that void. Her grandson, Joshua, will have a personal Guardian Angel now.
Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Avenue, Frostburg, MD on Monday, August 29, 2022, 2 to 5 pm. Funeral services will follow at 5 pm.
Interment will be at Finzel Cemetery.
