Don R. Robertson, 92, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at the Frostburg Village Nursing Care Center.
Born on June 18, 1922, in Lonaconing, MD, he was the son of the late James M. Robertson and Mary E. Trenum Robertson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Anna Margaret (Tippen) Robertson, seven brothers and 4 sisters.
Don was a veteran of WWII, having served in the U.S. Army where he earned three bronze stars. He was a retired railroad welder and was a former member of the Shaft Volunteer Fire Department.
Surviving are his brother, Olin Robertson, Mt. Savage; very close friend and caregiver Nina Lee, Shaft; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In accordance with his wishes, Don was cremated.
There will be no services.
