David T. Adams Jr.
83, of Frostburg passed away Saturday, November 2, 2013 at WMHS.
Born April 23, 1930 to the late David T. Adams and Annie Johnston Adams. In addition to his parents he is proceeded in death by his siblings Harry, William, James Adams, Margaret Hersick, Ruby Speir and Nancy Muir. David was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Surviving are his loving wife of 61 years Elsie (Whetstone) Adams, and family, daughters Cynthia Ann Adams, Cathy Lynn Petit and husband Robert Petit, sons David T. Adams III, and Brad Adams and partner Tammy Broadwater. The joy of his life, his grandchildren, Marshall Uncapher and partner Tori Nissen, Allyson Chatterton and husband Jacob Chatterton, Bruce Rephann, Mary Adams and Victoria Adams. Also surviving are his sisters-in-law, Lillian Adams, Sandra Lilly, Carol Adams; many nieces and nephews who were in his life, as well as many special friends who were always there.
David was in the Air Force from 1948-1952 during the Korean Conflict; attended Church of the Brethren, retired from PPG, volunteered many years of his life to helping with Meals on Wheels, and was an avid gardener and bowler.
