Darrell Garrison

Darrell Eugene Garrison, 75, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at his home with family.

Born on May 4, 1945, he was the son of the late Roy Dwayne and Hester Mae (DeHart) Garrison.

Born and raised in the Smokey Mountains of North Carolina, he was an avid hunter and loved farming and logging.

Surviving are his wife Sharon; sons Brian, of Virginia, and Galen, who resided with him; three grandchildren; brothers, William and wife Frances and Wesley and wife Judy; sister, Mae and husband W.R., all of North Carolina; also one special brother-in-law and wife, Dwayne and Robin, with whom he held a special bond.

Darrell will be cremated at his request and a private graveside service will be held at Restlawn Memorial Gardens.

The family asks that memorial donations, in Darrell’s name, be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Association.
