Her love for singing manifested as a member of the church choir for decades. The Church was an extended family for Cleo.Cleo also enjoyed writing poetry and would often recite a poem to her family and friends. One of her poems, entitled “Garden of My Soul” touched us all. In the garden of my soul, Is a beautiful golden gate. And when I enter, I am with God. The glory I see, mere words can’t describe. Yet I feel a great peace, Being here at God’s side. His smile is infectious, His voice is so clear. As He says calmly to me, Come child, at My right hand be near. So I know as He speaks, All my sins are forgiven, For the garden of my soul, Is with God in His Heaven.

Stevens and Mike; A son-in-law, Jim Hosken; five grandchildren: Ray Rase (Tracy), Jennifer Ralston, Randy Rase (Sherry), Jamie Hosken (Stephanie), Aaron Stevens (Amy); nine great-grandchildren: Brooke and Brianna Ralston, Nathan and Lillian Rase, Lizzy Stevens, Alex and Alyson Rase, James Hosken and Nayomi Arnold.
