Charles “Chuck” D. Kerr passed away on Tuesday May 28, 2013, at Martinsburg V.A. Center.
Born on February 12, 1949 in Frostburg to Charles E. “Chill” Kerr and Dorothy (Festerman) Kerr. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Craig Kerr.
Chuck is retired from the USDA as a federal meat inspector, a member of Queen City Lodge 131 A.F. & A.M., a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and was partner and co-owner of Kerr Brothers Guns in Cumberland.
Surviving are his wife of 12 years Julie (Frock) Kerr; children, Mark Kerr and wife Amy, Fort Campbell, KY, Carla Maust and husband Leonard, Bedford, PA; step-children, Gary Bartlett and wife Marsha, Fort Knox, KY, Jeannie Bartlett, OH; grandchildren, Megan Kerr, Amber Kerr, Layne Houck, Keegan Houck, Gavin Maust, Garret Maust; brothers, Jim Kerr, GA, Jeff Kerr and wife Robin, Cumberland; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Masonic memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 31, 2013 at 7:30 pm.
Pallbearers are Jeff Kerr, Mark Kerr, Leonard Maust, Gary Bartlett, and Greg Kerr.
