Chad Albright

Chad E. Albright, 41, of Frostburg, passed away Thursday, September 5th, 2024, at Virgina Commonwealth University Medical Center surrounded by his loving family, following a courageous battle with end stage liver failure.

Chad was born on his mom mom's birthday, March 23rd, 1983, in Cumberland, Maryland. He was the son of the late Edward Albright (Debbie), and Donna (Fazenbaker) Glass (Gene). Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his beloved uncle, James Albright, and a son, Joseph.

He spent most of his working life as a journeyman Sheet Metal Fabricator in the SMART Local 100, before enjoying an early retirement to be an "At-Home Contractor". He had many proud accomplishments in his life but none more important than his two sons Jacob and Dakota.

Chad's favorite past time was to spend time with his family and friends, whom he loved dearly. He also enjoyed playing video games and watching movies. He spent his summer weekends at camp playing corn hole and making memories. He also loved watching the Blue Crabs Baseball team with his in-laws, Scott and Karen Doubleday.

Chad is survived by his wife, Samantha (Doubleday) Albright; sons, Jacob and Dakota Albright; grandson, Ashton Albright; son, Bryan Uhl and daughter he always wanted Kelsey Uhl; sister, Sabrina Albright; brothers, Derick Often and Jesse Glass (Heather); nieces and nephews; Nathan Crump (Daniel), Shawnda Hare (Bobby Smith), Chandler Robison (Mindee Guinn), Hana Slaughter, Donnavan Albright, Bailey Glass, Gavin Glass, Alayah Dorsey, Violet Doubleday, Evan Dorsey, and Ryleigh Often; and two loving puppies Rambo and Ratchet. He also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Chad will be cremated in accordance to his wishes.
