Carl Edward Martens, 80, of Frostburg, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Frostburg Village Nursing and Care Center.
Born December 25, 1934 to the late Walter Edward Martens and Emma Elizabeth (Tressler) Martens. He is also preceded in death by 3 brothers, George Franklin Martens, Robert Martens, Elmer Martens; 4 sisters, Lena Rizer, Hazel Martens, Emma Walker, and Eleanor Martha Beaver.
Surviving are his loving wife of 57 years Nancy (Baker) Martens; children, James Martens and wife Carolin, son Jonathan of Uniontown, OH, Janet (Martens) Stevens and husband Jay, twins, Alex and Tristan of Eckhart, MD, Julie (Martens) Forney and husband John of Millersburg, PA, Jerry Martens and wife Bonnie, daughter, Samantha, sons Joshua and Clay of Springfield, OH, Joanna (Martens) Schroyer and sons, Levi and Ben of Grantsville, MD; sister, LaVerne Yutzy of Pocahontas, PA; numerous nieces and nephews.
Carl was cremated in accordance with his wishes.
