Britton Nestor

Britton Junior Nestor, 92, of Frostburg, passed away at WMHS Regional Medical Center on Friday, May 10, 2013.
Born May 2, 1921 in Phillipi, WV, he was the son of Renny Britton Nestor and Ida (Stalnaker) Nestor. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Edith Mercey (Hutchins) Nestor; brother, Wetzel Ray Nestor and three sisters, Bessie M. Mouser, Marada G. Grimm and Pansy P. Ritter.
Mr. Nestor was a WWII Air Force Veteran. He was retired from Maryland Coal and Realty Company as a laborer and a farmer his entire life.
Surviving is a daughter, Valerie I. Davis and husband Roger; grandchildren, Lisa Rafferty, Brian Rafferty, Michelle McGee and husband James, and Terry Klein and husband Dave; great grandchildren, Matthew Portmess, Trevor Klein, Jesse Rafferty, and Wade McGee, Isaac Taylor, Emily McGee, and Jacob Klein; great great grandchildren, Braiden and Mason Portmess.
Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Avenue, Frostburg on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 9 p.m. following the viewing with Rev. Harold McClay officiating.
Following the service, Mr. Nestor will be cremated in accordance with his wishes.
An Inurnment will be held at a later date in Tracey, West Virginia.
