Brenda McKenzie

Brenda Lee McKenzie , 55, of Frostburg passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Washington Hospital Center.

Born March 16, 1965 to Earlene M. (McDonald) McKenzie and the late James Kenneth McKenzie Jr. She is also preceded by her granddaughter, Lamarah.

Brenda was a 1983 graduate of Beall High School. She loved playing online gaming and Bingo, as well as watching the, “The Walking Dead.” Above all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her mother she is survived by, her significant other, Francisco Rodriguez; son, Jeremiah Riggleman Sr. and wife Meagan; daughters, Shawna Gordon, Naomi McKenzie, Gwendolyn Babb and husband Walter; siblings Peggy Crowe and husband Dennis, James “Jimmy” McKenzie III; grandchildren, Mea, Jeremiah Jr. and James; niece, Jadyn and nephew, Evan; her beloved dog, Coco.

Friends and Family will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave, Frostburg, MD on Monday, September 28, 2020 from 1 to 3 p.m. Memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. with Rev. Jim Jeffries officiating.

Brenda will be cremated in accordance with her wishes.
