Bob "Chief" Scott

Bob “Chief” Scott, 77, of Vale Summit, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at UPMC Western Maryland.

Born on January 3, 1945 to the late Eleanor (Loar) Scott and Percy Scott. He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings Harold Scott, Christina Scott, Ralph Scott, and Barbara Drew. He is the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Bob was a truck driver for Bedford Valley Petroleum; and a member of Piney Mountain Sportsman Club and Big Savage Mountain Sportsman Club. He loved deer hunting and trips to Canada hunting with Jake. Bob enjoyed the great outdoors, gardening and tending to the yard and riding his 4-wheeler. He loved taking day trips with Sally to various locations. Family always came first with Bob.

Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Sally Scott; son, Jacob Scott and wife Sarah; grandchildren, Tysen Todd, Talen Faulkner, and Gunner Scott.

Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Avenue, Frostburg, MD on Friday, November 25, 2022 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm with Rev. Kevin Lamp officiating.

Interment will be in Vale Summit Cemetery.
