Betty MacMillan

Betty L. MacMillan , 90, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at WMHS Regional Medical Center.

Born on March 22, 1929, in Washington, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Idella (Festerman) McKnight.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Edward MacMillan; son Archie William MacMillan; grandchildren, Jennifer MacMillan, Jeffrey MacMillan and Jimmy MacMillan; great-grandson, Corey Moore; brother, Robert McKnight, Jr; and sisters, Alberta Lingenfelter, Ellen Cage, Eleanor Plummer, and Florence Freel.

Betty was a Beall High School graduate and a member of a bowling league.  She enjoyed Sunday family dinners and spending time with grandchildren and great-grandson, Oliver. She loved her flowers.

Surviving are sons, Edward Jr., Cleveland, and Bob and wife Jean, Barton; grandchildren, Elizabeth Brown, Thomas MacMillan, Kelly and husband Chris Ackerman and Andrea and husband Garrett Mathews; eight great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; sister, Edith Meyers of Hazel Park, MI; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave, Frostburg, MD, on Saturday, November 2, 2019, from 11 am to 2 pm. A funeral service will follow at 2 pm with Rev. Dan Agnew officiating.

Interment will be at Frostburg Memorial Park.
