Barry O'Baker

Barry Eugene O’Baker, 66, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2022 at Devlin Manor Nursing Home.

Born on November 12, 1955 to the late Dorothy Cessna and Charles O’Baker. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Larry O’Baker.

Barry was a member of the Bowman’s Addition Fire Department and belonged to the Tri-State Cruising Car Club. He had a passion for cars and his pet dog, Marte.

Surviving are his wife, Carole (Malloy) O’Baker; step-children, Donald Sweitzer and wife Angie and Daniel Sweitzer and wife Laurie; grandchildren, Brandon, Samantha and Chloe; step-grandchildren, Zach and Braedan; brothers, Charles O’Baker and wife Pam, Gary O’Baker; sister, Sherry Hotchkiss and husband Dave; nieces, Kari Cook and husband Allen, Olivia Collins and husband Josh, Malynn O’Baker and fiancé Max Flanigan, Gracie O’Baker and significant other Mitch Septof , Amber Ward and husband Eric, Laura Wilson and husband John; nephew, Larry O’Baker and wife Jessica, Ryan Malloy; in-laws, Ruth Booth and husband Rick, Dennis Malloy and significant other Judy.

Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Avenue, Frostburg, MD on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Jim Jeffries officiating.

Barry was cremated in accordance with his wishes.
