Anna Rowe Commons

Anna Pearl “A.P.” (Malloy) Rowe Commons, 79, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017, at WMHS Regional Medical Center.
Born on June 14, 1937, in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Elizabeth Jane (Hanna) Malloy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband William C. “Bill” Rowe in 1991; and second husband Harry E. Commons in 2014.
A P. was a member of the Beall High School Class of 1955 and worked in the Dietary Department at Sacred Heart Hospital as well as in Florida. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Frostburg Elks. She enjoyed Frostburg Derby Days and celebrating all holidays with family and friends, particularly Christmas.
Surviving are daughters, Debbie Bittner and husband Mark, LaVale, Cindy Livingston and husband Brian, North Augusta, SC and Beth Ann Ferguson and husband Randy, Hollywood; 3 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jim Malloy and wife Pat and Larry Malloy and wife Carla; aunt, Mary Reidler; and numerous nieces and nephews. .
Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Avenue, Frostburg, MD on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, from 5-8 pm.
Funeral Services will be held at Durst Funeral Home on Thursday, March 30, 2017, at 11 am with Father Doug Kenney serving as celebrant.
Interment will follow in Frostburg Memorial Park.
