Adeline Wolford, 95, of Frostburg, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Frostburg Village Nursing Care Center.
Born March 14, 1918 in Lonaconing to Andrew Robertson Jr. and Mary Jane (Patton) Robertson; she is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 41 years, Donald E. “Don” Wolford and three brothers; Andrew Robertson, Robert Robertson, and Richard Robertson Sr.
Mrs. Wolford was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, Frostburg and a Consistory Board Member for many years; also a 1936 graduate of Central High School. She was co-owner of Don’s Repair Shop and Rental Properties. Adeline enjoyed going to antique car shows with her husband, traveling to see musicals in the surrounding area, maintaining her properties and attending church.
Surviving are cousin and close friend, Anna Lee (Boyd) Gowans and family, Lonaconing, 2 nd cousin and best friend, Sandi Wilt, Lonaconing; nephew, Richard Robertson Jr. and wife Leslie, Stephens City, Va; niece, Pamela (Robertson) Williams and husband Richard, Fairfax, Va; niece, Dierdre (Robertson) Glossner and husband William, Glen Burnie, Md.; sisters-in-law, Wanda Richardson and Ruby Wolford; brother-in-law, Harry “Bud” Wolford and wife Faye, all of Frostburg; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
